Former Barcelona and Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has reportedly been handed a full-time coaching position in Tottenham’s academy.
The 39-year-old Ivorian, had been on a part-time work at Spurs for the past eight months.
Toure a three-times Premier League winner, had stayed with the club for sometime since December in an unofficial capacity while working at obtaining his Uefa A Licence
Haven held assistant manager positions at Ukrainian club Olimpik Donetsk and Russian side Akhmat Grozny, his work at Tottenham's academy, will be his first permanent coaching job in England.
Reports says that Tottenham is expected to appoint premier league icon Jeremian Defoe alongside Toure as Tottenham coaches.
According to the Evening Standard, the Ivorian will be handed his own age-group team to manage as part of an academy coaching shake-up at Spurs.
