Shocking: Twitter has set new limits on all Twitter accounts, as some Twitter users fear such limits and rules can lead to the end of the Twitter platform, some people also quote the rule, saying is 100% against freedom of speech, against humanity and against the ideal path Elon Musk has always championed
While some are of the opinion that such limits may lead to the end of Twitter as many people will say goodbye to Twitter under such limitations. Though Elon and Twitter team said, the new Twitter users limit was introduced to combat or possibly stop Twitter data scrapping both from users' and bots' accounts
The announcement came early today 1st of July 2023, with an immediate effect, and was made by Elon Musk in a tweet post. See tweet below
- Verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 posts/day
- Unverified accounts to 600 posts/day

NOTE: From Elon's tweet, this new rule is temporary, due no one knows how long it will last, and possibly if it will be left any time soon
Should this rule is allowed for a long time may backfire on Twitter's platform, cos it means that Twitter won't be 100% accessible to the public, and to its users anymore. This is not too good in the sense that Social media is the powerhouse for freedom of speech, a voice for humanity
There are better ways to combat data scrapping, as technology keeps advancing, data protection, and cyber security is among the most concern to all web and app portals
So I strongly believe there are a lot of ways to limit and stop data scrapping by users and bots accounts, a lot of ways more especially when you have the finances to achieve this, temporarily limiting people's accounts at this present time is not the best moved
We are at a time when people's voices need to be heard all around the world when people should be encouraged to speak up, share posts, pictures, videos, tweet, and soso
