Duane Keith Davis a man who claimed to have witnessed the drive-by shooting of rapper Tupac Shakur an incident that took place more than 25 years ago, has been indicted on a murder charge in Las Vegas United States
Davis asserted that he was in the passenger seat of the car involved in the shooting, which occurred after a Mike Tyson-Bruce Seldon prizefight in 1996. Shakur, who was said to have been shot four times that very day, died a week later.
The indictment includes charges of murder with the use of a deadly weapon and intent to promote or assist a criminal gang. According to the report, Davis is currently in custody, and the case gained renewed attention in July this year when the police executed a search warrant at a home connected to him in Henderson, Nevada.
