Daily people walk about taking pictures, and video footage for fun and social media rant in a shade of sadness on what our society is today

Then came, the story of the little girl and the vulture, as you learn how she was left to die in the early 1990s. See the picture footage of here below

This above widely circulated photo of a vulture waiting for a starving little girl to die and feast on her corp. That photo was taken during the 1993/94 famine in Sudan, by Kevin Carter, a South African photojournalist, who later won the Pulitzer Prize for this 'amazing shot'.

Sadly, as Kevin Carter was savoring his feat and being celebrated on major news channels, electronic channels, and networks worldwide for such an 'exceptional photographic skill', he lived just for a few months to enjoy his supposed achievement, glory, and fame, as he later got depressed and took his own life!

Yes, Kevin Carter the photojournalist who took the picture of the little girl in need of mercy, got depressed, his depression started during one of such interviews (a phone-in program) came and the caller asked him what happened to the little girl.

It was shocking when he replied, "he never wait to find out after the shot, he was only interested in the scene, not the little girl's life as he had a flight to catch, he left the little girl after the shot

Then the caller said, "I put it to you that there were two vultures on that day, one had a camera which is you" When the caller dropped, other calls started coming accusing him of being a vulture

This led to his constant thought of that statement, which he find hard to control and later led to depression. He ultimately committed suicide.

The truth is, Kevin Carter could have still been alive today and even much more famous if he had just picked that little girl up after taking the shot

Imagine if he had picked the little girl up and taken her to the United Nations Feeding Center, where she was attempting to reach or at least take her to a somewhere safer environment

Possible, today he would have been more celebrated globally, regrettably, this is what is happening all around the world, injustice, human rights abuses

The world celebrates stupidity and inhumane act, to the detriment of others. Kevin Carter should have taken the girl away from that place after the shot, but he failed which cost the little girl her life

Then we ask, what will it cost him to pick up that little girl #nothing, yet he didn't, he ignored the very most important moment of his career to put humanity first, rather allow inhuman posture to take the best of his, "he had all time to take his shot, but he had no time to save the girl's life.

Thus, we must all understand that, the purpose of life, is to also touch lives, to put humanity first in all that we do. So are you too a Vulture? In whatever we do, let humanity come first, this is what the Africa SOSO project stands for

Before what we stand to gain out of the situation. In all, we do let's always think of others, let's put one human race ahead of our racism, religion, language, color, tribes, etc

And think best how we can be of benefit to humanity, to every one of us, how we can lend a helping hand and wipe away tears from the majority of mankind

How to reduce poverty, disease, crimes, and wars, push them far away from our world today. Hence, when we seek knowledge, wealth, fame, skills, or even positions, let's think of how we can use it to benefit the people around us and our society at large. Putting humanity @first
