SPORTS: NWACHUKWU GOODNESS WINS GOLD IN WOMEN’S PARA DISCUS, SETS NEW WORLD RECORD

Nwachukwu Goodness has joined Tobi Amusan to win a gold medal and the others, to set a new world record after she clinched a gold medal for Nigeria in the women’s E42.44/61.64 discus throw at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

The 23-year-old, Nwachukwu have brought home, Nigeria's fourth gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Following behind Nwachukwu were, Sarah Edminston of Australia who came second and Naibili Vanutisolo of Fiji Island who took the third position.

Nwachukwu improved on her performance with a throw of 36.56m in the ongoing 2022 commonwealth games.

Nwachukwu break a world record twice.

The former F42 World Record holder with the best mark of 33.35m, trailed the audience at the Alexander stadium with her performance on Thursday 4, August.
