Things are getting crazy for Russians after PayPal joined other international financial institutes to shut down PayPal services in Russia citing Russia Ukraine aggression World Forum Live report

This development was made known on March 5th, 2022 as was reported by multiple sources that PayPal has shut down its services early on Saturday last weekend 5th of March 2022 suspending all her services in Russia citing the current happenings in Ukraine

As they wish to join other financial tech virtual and non virtual companies around the globe to suspended all PayPal operations in Russia after Russia Ukraine invasions'

In the press release, as read in the Quote below: PayPal writes

''Developing News: Though to the current circumstances, PayPal is suspending its services 'PayPal Services In Russia'' President and Chief Executive Dan Schulman said in a statement.

He added that the company stands with the international community in condemning Russia's troop violent military aggression in Ukraine; citing reasons for the 5th March 2022 PayPal suspension of services in Russia

This not being the first, as of back in the year 2012, On Thursday, November 7, PayPal announced its first attempt to suspend its services across Russia, in the press release which read, see quote below

PayPal would be suspending its services in Russia.

This was back in 2012 being the first time PayPal suspended its services in Russia, Then, the move comes after the Russian government passed a law that requires online payment companies Such as PayPal and others, are requested to store data on Russian citizens within the country.

PayPal has stated that it will be looking into ways to comply with the new law, but that it is currently not possible to do so with the then PayPal tech, features, and policies, it will be difficult for them 'PayPal to comply. As a result, all PayPal services in Russia will be suspended as of November 13 that year 2012

Later on Tuesday, November 17th, PayPal announced that it would be shutting down its services in Russia. The decision was made in response to new Russian regulations that require online payment companies to share information about their users with the Russian government.
