President Joe Biden Revoke The Omicron Travel Ban To 8 Africa Countries

BREAKING: It is now official as the U.S. President Joseph R. Biden Jr. on Tuesday, December 30, 2021, issued a new proclamation revoking the Omicron-linked travel ban he authorized in a previous proclamation on November 26, 2021, after a South Africa scientist discover the Omicron Variant of COVID

Eight southern African nations were banned from entering the United States, while some of these countries have no records of Omicron Virus.

But yesterday turn a new leaf as the President has proclaimed revoking the ban. The new proclamation is effective at 12:01 a.m. eastern standard time on December 31, 2021.

So the travel ban had applied to South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Eswatini.

This indeed is a piece of good news to all the affected Africa countries, just as the world continues to celebrate the festive season, please remember that the best way to protect your health, your family, loves ones, friends, and the world at large safe from COVID-19 and the Omicron variant is to get vaccinated and get your booster shot. in all wear a face mask when you are out doors and stay safe
