People have been asking if has Google banned AI content or does AI content now banned across search results
The answer is yes or no, Google has been able to identify some patterns people used in publishing AI-generated content and they are clapping down on some of the platforms pulling these AI contents outSo let's say, Google is now filtering AI-generated content, Google effectively started taking these actions against those who are using AI-based and poor generated and published content just for the sake of rankings
These came after the Google March 2024 core updates was released and most English-speaking websites that use poor generated AI content are mostly filtered and de_ranked
But generally, we can not for now say Google is banning AI-generated content, but best put it this way, that it's now harder for AI-generated content to rank at the moment
Yes, Google has started filtering AI content, even do they can't accurately identify all AI content, which also means, they can't generally ban something they don't have the tech prompt to completely detect for now and then to find and patch. So in the attempt to filter and ban AI content, both AI and none AI contents website (Genuine websites) were also screwed up
So when or when you ask if Google had started banning AI-generated content? you can also get the answer that there are no banned issues with AI content.
The problem is you cannot possibly rank your website with AI content. It's so difficult now to rank such generated content because Google always gives top priority to human writing content against generated contents
Again from the study and sources from Originality.ai, a few websites are completely deindexed by Google and most of them were de_ranked for possible unwanted content and AI-based content published for the sake of getting ranked, and not based on user base experience, not based on helpful content policies by Google
So those are mostly the basic reasons Google de_indexed a few sites that are reliable on AI-based content, while it wasn't universally banned (de_indexed) on AI content, put a possible check on some specified policies of the platform
Also not only a ban on some AI-generated but a ban on abuse of massive AI-generated content, a ban on those who post tens to hundreds of different generated AI articles every day which seems to be a problem and goes against Google Policy
The issues of Google being against generated AI did not start today, far years back Google had been against all forms of content generation, content rewriting tools and spinning, etc, and cared more for quality value over quantity of content
While AI content isn't completely banned, there is an emphasis on relevance and value to user experience on improved search results: Sign up to Africa Choice here for more incentives. Stay on
