Hello friend

Just want to discuss briefly the difference between web 3.0, web 2.0, and web 1.0 live on this thread, world forum. You see when the website world wide web 'www' was first discovered and invented by Berners Lee in the year 1989, the first website then are all static websites refers as web 1.0

So we can say that the web platform then started with what we call web 1.0, then later advanced to web 2.0, and now moving to the web. 3.0 in a world where what you thinks is impossible are daily been proven to be possible

So in a layman's explanation web, 2.0 is like a social bookmark, social media sites, blogs, wiki links, forums, etc while web 3.0 is more of the blockchain, the Artificial intelligence (AI) platforms, the Virtual Reality (VR), etc hope you get the ideas

The Web 1.0:
Web 1.0: Are refers to static websites, most of these websites are just static and not open source delimited. while.

The Web 2.0:
Web 2.0: are refers to websites that allow people to publish posts, articles, ask questions, get comments, start discussions, host live training, e_store website, eCommerce, classifieds, etc

These types of websites allow people to be interacting with others, engage with content, respond, react and even have other people apart from the admin of the website publish contents, web 2.0 are mostly powered by open sources CRM

The Web 3.0:
Web 3.0: Are refers to websites that allow decentralization or best put it this way, allow freedom. Where these are mostly powered by blockchain technology and one thing that makes this type of web the web 3.0 is the fact that most of them are decentralized

Understanding Web 3.0, Web 2.0, and Web 1.0.jpg

There are not many differences among all, web 3.0, web 2.0, and web 1.0 all do requires a unique domain name and hosting server to run, but with total changes with the web 3.0 where servers are decentralized. while web 1.0: are more of a static website interface, then web 2.0 are more interactive and allows contributors, volunteers, developers, writers, sharer, participants on its platform

The introduction of web 2.0 gave users the power one needs to have a publishing platform without renting out a TV, radio station, or print newspaper. etc and takes the power of publishers from print media, TV stations, Radio stations to social media, website owners, and bloggers

While there is not much difference between web 2.0 to that of web 3.0

In web 3.0, this web technology showcase the rise of decentralized tools and apps, with web 3.0 everyone and anybody can document who they are and what they can do.

Web 3.0 has less to do with the web and more to do with how we use the net.

Is it marketing? sure there is that aspect with it as well as it had been with web 2.0 that does not take away from the fact that 'web 3.0 will change our thinking as 'web 2.0' has changed it.

While core web 3.0 can run on a decentralized server, nodes and run by everyone, not by a single entity hence the word decentralization

Also in web 3.0, you are taking smart contracts, which are a block of code on Blockchain, each request is proceeding with Blockchain recourses, intellectual intelligence ''AI'', Virtual reality ''VR'' and other technologies features that make up the web 3.0, not a centralized server and nodes

Other Examples Of The Web 1.0, Web 2.0, Web 3.0: Are As Follows

1: Web 1.0 .
. this type of website, the webmaster is the creator of the content, just web master alone

2: Web 2.0. This type of website allows users or best put it visitors to be the creator of content, but there is a company that runs and owns the platform and most importantly monetizes it, just Like Youtube, Facebook, Worldforum, Twitter ..etc

3: Web 3.0. This type of website has taken out the corp from the operation, the creator of Web 2.0 content monetizes his content with the visitors directly.

In web 3.0 content creators create their media on blockchain and based on their popularity their coin value rises. It's revolutionary and everyone from the visitor can participate and get a share in the project. while many webs 2.0 are now beginning to move from web 2.0 to 3.0 Facebook metaverse is a sure example of such a web technology

This same technology may come on youtube very soon, as youtube will become a platform where all users earn. For example, once youtube completely converts to web 3.0 when you share, you earn coins, when you comment, you earn coins, when you upload a video you get coins.

So, everyone using such a web platform is geared to earning, so decentralized, that all involved are getting his share based on his effort, your input, blockchain, and NFT are just examples of web 3.0 we are talking about. No, just a single person is a winner, here everyone using the web technology is all owner, controlling the platform and best winning all together

Hope this makes sense, you now have an understanding of web 3.0, web 2.0, and Web 1.0.
