It is our wish that every country's leadership, president, and all rulers around the world should succeed for the good of their people and humanity in general. We pray for world peace and wish for a better world for all.

Today is Donald Trump's second inauguration and we all here at WorldSocio wish President Donald Trump all the best in her second term as President of the United States.

You see in just a few hours from now depending on when you are reading this, Donald John Trump, 78, will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States at noon. As reported he has just 22 months to either succeed or fail. Yes, we do wish him to succeed.

But the fact still remains that by November next year, Republicans could retain or lose control of the Senate and the House, and if they lose, everything could go downhill from there.

Right now, Republicans and Conservatives control it all: the Supreme Court, the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives. With such power comes the reality—there’s no one else to blame if they fail.

History shows that holding all branches of government is often more of a curse than a blessing in the United States that when in opposition, you can promise the world—like ending the war in Ukraine, removing taxes on tips, or sealing the border without Congress.

But once in office, Washington reminds you why it’s so complicated that even at that point you may forget most of your political promises. There are too many interests, too many powerful players, and the presidency isn’t an empire.

You have to compromise, bring people together, and win over opposition to achieve anything. Even then, unforeseen events—a terrorist attack wish we do not pray or wish for, a pandemic like COVID, a foreign war, or a scandal—can derail everything.

Every new president comes into office with hope and aspiration for the masses, big crowds, and optimism. Some succeed, and I hope Donald Trump will. But Washington is a beast. Allies turn into enemies, almost everyone is secretly recording each other, and the saying remains true: there are no permanent friends or enemies, only permanent interests.

Donald Trump will turn 79 years old in June and 80 next year. He’s not young, but he appears good, mentally, and physically fit for the job. Still, the weight of the presidency spares no one, and even Trump will feel it again soon.

If Republicans hold Congress in November next year, they’ll likely control Washington for the next 8 to 12 years. But if they lose, Trump will become a lame-duck president, powerless even to influence his successor.

Today, Donald Trump is expected to sign dozens of executive orders, lift the TikTok ban in the US, and begin mass deportations on Tuesday. He has 100 days to prove he can make progress and is expected to show strength within his first three months. Whether he succeeds or fails, I can’t tell—but it will either be beautiful or chaotic. One thing is certain: this will be a consequential presidency.
