Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky, said that the Russian military is putting every of her resources into the war.

Speaking during his nightly video address to the nation on Tuesday April 19, Zelensky said, “They have driven almost everyone and everything that is capable of fighting us against Ukraine."
The war which have ventered into it's 55th day, have left the nation with a lot of casualties.

"The Russian army in this war is writing itself into the world history forever as the most barbaric and inhumane army in the world," Zelensky.

According to Zelensky, the Russian military, has been "purposefully killing civilians" with weapons that are banned under international law and he said that, when the crimes committed by Russia in the war comes under full scope, ''a Russian passport will mean only one thing in any country: Unequivocal condemnation from all decent people.''

President Zelensky, also praised the Ukrainian army for their bravery and commitment in fighting in the ongoing war.

"If Ukraine had access to the same kinds of weapons being used by Russia", Zelensky said, ''we would have already ended this war. Only the West is capable of providing such weapons," he added.
He urged NATO countries to supply the weapons the promised earlier than promised, saying, "if we receive now what some of our partners promise to give to Ukraine in the coming weeks, it will save the lives of thousands of thousands of people."

Meanwhile, the US President, Joe Biden, is expected to announce a new weapons package in the coming days that will include additional artillery and ammunition, according to a U.S. official, who was not authorized to comment publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

On the issue of weapon assistance, the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also said his country will send heavy artillery to Ukraine.

While the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte told Zelensky that the Netherlands will send more heavy weapons, which will have, included among them, armored vehicles.

The UK Government department wrote:
"Russian shelling and strikes on the Donbas line of control continue to increase, with the Ukrainians repelling numerous attempted advances by Russian forces."

"Russia's ability to progress continues to be impacted by the environmental, logistical and technical challenges that have beset them so far, combined with the resilience of the highly-motivated Ukrainian armed forces."

"Russia's inability to stamp out resistance in Mariupol and their indiscriminate attacks, which have harmed the resident civilian populace, are indicative of their continued failure to achieve their aims as quickly as they would like."
