One of the verses I really admire in the Bible is found in the Book of Isaiah. Ch. 43, Verse 1 & 2 {NASB} _
1) But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! 2) When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
Verses 1& 2 reminds me that No matter what I am going through, God will stand with me, strengthen me, and deliver me. My suffering and heartache may be the result of many things, but the one thing I can be confident of is that Jesus Christ has not abandoned me and never will.
Thank you, God, for redeeming me and for calling me by name. I am Yours!
