Good Friday is a religious and cultural holiday observed by Christians around the world. It commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and is considered one of the holiest days in the Christian calendar.
More so, on every Good Friday, Christians normally observe a series of religious services focused on repentance and atonement of sins. The day is also known for its special traditions, including fasting and abstaining from meat. While the Christian tradition of Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Good Friday is said to be the last day of Lent, forty days leading up to Easter.
