A letter written by Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in 2007, Mr Peter Obi when he was the Governor of Anambra State have surfaced online.

In the letter, Mr Obi rejected 2 plots of land allotted to him, by the State Housing Development Corporation.

In the letter, Mr Obi stated that his then position as the Governor of the State, was by the grace of God and that he "believe firmly", that it was wrong for him to benefit from the allocation and that he was only elected to serve the citizens and will distance himself from "undue privileges".
