Following their 2022 World Cup qualifier which was suspended less than 10 minutes after kickoff due to an alleged breech of COVID-19 quarantine rules, FIFA have passed the verdict, that Brazil and Argentina will replay the game.
The match in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was halted after officials, said to be Brazilian medical chiefs, stormed onto the field 10 minutes into the game.
FIFA said on Monday, ruled that Brazil and Argentina will replay their abandoned 2022 World Cup qualifier despite both teams having already qualified for 2022 FIFA world cup game in Qatar.
Both associations submitted appeals in February after FIFA imposed fines and ruled that the match must be rescheduled.
The decision by FIFA was reached after the appeals from both countries' football associations.

According to FIFA,
"After analyzing the submissions of both parties and considering all circumstances of the case, the appeal committee confirmed that the match would be replayed.
"(It) also upheld the fine of 50,000 Swiss francs ($50,322) that was imposed on both associations as a result of the abandonment."
Brazil and Argentina Football Associations had also been fined by FIFA, 500,000 Swiss francs and 200,000 Swiss francs, respectively, for their failure to ensure "order and safety".
FIFA have however, said that the Appeal Committee have decided to reduce the fine on the CBF by 250,000 Swiss francs while the fine on the AFA had been reduced by 100,000 Swiss francs.
FIFA have not yet confirmed the date and location of the replay.
According to XINHUANET, Last month, officials in the Australian state of Victoria announced that Brazil and Argentina would meet in a friendly at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in June.
