About a week and a half ago, I picked up my 7 year old daughter from a Girl Scout meeting. As we walked home, I slipped on what I didn't expect (black ice). All of a sudden the next thing I knew was Sydney grabbed my cell phone and called 911. When the paramedics arrived, they informed me that I had broke my leg in 2 places. They rushed me to the hospital and the doctor stated I was in need of surgery. This coming Monday, I will have pins and screws in my leg. Then I will be going straight to a nursing home to get physical therapy to learn to walk again. And will have to be in a wheel chair as well. It will take at least July to be able to pull myself together. However I will have my cell with me. I will have the phone on silent the entire time. but I prefer if you all can message me on this forum. I owe it all to my little girl who acted fast and contacted 911. Please keep me in your prayers. I will be back on the forum to write more current events as soon as possible.
